Multidisciplinary designer based in the city of bridges.
I’m a multidisciplinary designer with experience working across both print and digital platforms. I have a background in Psychology and Italian, and over a decade of experience in operational, often client-facing positions in event management, independent bookselling, web development and hospitality. My diverse career has given me a unique perspective on creating experiences for people, always with the goal of anticipating and meeting their needs.
I found my footing as a designer after completing a graphic design certificate from Pratt Institute with a concentration in web design. I navigate with empathy and human psychology, and approach each project with steadfast curiosity, focus, and creative problem solving. I’m passionate about projects with a progressive mission that help make the world a better place.
When I’m not at my desk, you can usually find me reading, rolling pasta, or walking my dog around the neighborhood. I’m currently learning how to juggle. It isn’t going well.

"My colleagues and I hired Amanda to rebrand our union — the Part-Time Faculty at the New School. While the union has existed since 2003, workers reawakened to their collective power during the Covid-19 pandemic. It was clear to members that they needed to flex their collective muscle to gain better benefits, pay, and job security after years of stagnation.
The goal of the brand redesign was to create a recognizable, empowering visual brand that positioned the union as a source of rank-and-file power. The new look inspired faculty and community supporters to join the movement in preparation for a year-long contract campaign, which culminated in a dramatic 3-week strike at the end of the semester.
We chose to work with Amanda because of her refined design aesthetic (important for our target audience at an NYC art college) and her passion for progressive causes. Amanda’s warm personality, her talent, and her dedication to craft make her a great collaborator and creative problem-solver. She was very attentive and attuned to our needs, producing many creative iterations on a relatively short timeline. Amanda was flexible and patient with our desire to experiment and explore before arriving at the finished design solution. The completed visual brand embodies creativity, diversity, and the power of workers' voices rising in solidarity.
The final products (stickers, buttons, signage, social media graphics, and zoom backgrounds) received many compliments. Faculty felt proud to display their union gear on the picket line and in the digital negotiation space on Zoom. The signage was photographed widely and featured in The New York Times among other publications. For faculty, it was uplifting to see students wear the stickers and buttons on campus in a visible show of support for their professors. Thanks to the visibility of the union brand in digital and physical spaces, the campaign resulted in a historic win for workers." -- NSPTF Representative
